Diana joined NF Northeast in March 2015 and hit the ground running, taking the lead and growing the organization’s special events program at a pivotal point in its long history. Diana has a Master’s Degree in Communications Management and a Bachelor of Art Degree in Organizational Communication. She brings more than 15 years of experience in the healthcare event industry, including past roles planning and executing comprehensive fundraising events at Partners HealthCare, Lahey Health and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
In her role at NF Northeast, Diana not only manages all of the organization’s events, but also supports NF Volunteers in the planning and organizing of their own personal fundraising events. While she always has her “event hat” on, Diana also loves the operations and administrative aspect of her role. She works alongside her colleagues to produce event materials, maintain the NF website and all social media platforms (Follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram!), and manages staff and volunteers.
Diana lives in Groton, MA with her husband, their two kids, Madison and Andrew, and their sweet, loving, amazingly cute dog, Emma. When she’s not at the NF Northeast office or running around an event while holding a white binder, you’ll find her at the playground with her kids, listening to audiobooks (who has time to read!?), pretending to enjoy running or spending summer weekends on Sebago Lake in Maine.
“As Director of Operations and Events, I have the unique opportunity of raising awareness about a rare disorder that affects thousands, while also bringing together our neurofibromatosis families and supporters at our numerous events throughout the year. As a mom to two young children, I am proud that they can watch me in a profession that gives back to those in need, an important value that I want to instill in them.”
