Tuesday Takeaways is our reoccurring lunch and learn series! These one-hour educational lunchtime sessions are geared towards sharing relevant updates and educational materials with our NF community.
For the fourth session of our Fall 2024 Tuesday Takeaways series, we welcome NF/SWN expert and genetic counselor, Amanda Bergner, to talk about various aspects of family planning across the lifespan for people with NF or schwannomatosis and their loved ones. Amanda will provide an overview of recent literature on topics such as birth control, dating and disclosure to others, considerations in pregnancy, and options for genetic testing including preimplantation genetic testing (PGT). Bring your questions, we’ll have time for discussion afterwards!
