Tuesday Takeaways is a four-part lunch and learn series! These one-hour educational lunchtime sessions are geared towards sharing relevant updates and educational materials with our NF community.
For our second session, we’re welcoming Dr. Gary Brenner, Director of the Pain Medicine Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Brenner runs an NIH-funded lab focused on developing gene therapy for the often painful peripheral nervous system tumors associated with neurofibromatosis/schwannomatosis. A significant portion of his research is dedicated to developing novel therapies for the treatment of schwannomas. Please join us to learn about the use of genetically modified Salmonella strains for treating schwannoma.
Please join us for any or all of these sessions taking place at 12pm via Zoom on one Tuesday of each month (February through May).
