Ways to Give

Corporate Engagement with Neurofibromatosis (NF) Northeast

Make a Difference

Partner with Neurofibromatosis (NF) Northeast to help us realize our vision of a world where the burden of neurofibromatosis does not exist. We will create a customized partnership that is geographically relevant and uniquely your own, offering excellent visibility through our many events.

Our corporate partners fund innovative programs that make a difference for our patients and families impacted by neurofibromatosis. When your company participates financially as well as volunteering, the entire team benefits. This a great way to positively invest in and impact the communities in which you do business, and where your employees live.

The following are ways your corporation can get involved, raise awareness of your brand and show your commitment to curing NF.

Sponsor an Event

We have large-scale walk/run and cycle events throughout the year in the Northeast. Event sponsorships are available at a wide variety of levels, each of which provides unique benefits to your organization. Partner to show your support and receive excellent year-long visibility and access to a deeply committed local group of supporters and event participants.

Employee Giving

NF Northeast relies on the generosity of local companies and your employees to be there for patients and families affected by neurofibromatosis and allied disorders.

Matching Gift Program

Employers that match charitable contributions made by their employees can double their impact and help us get closer to finding a cure for NF.

Walk in a Box

Interested in our Steps2Cure NF Walk/Run but want to create a virtual event or a walk on your company campus? Our Walk in a Box gives you everything you need to create a Steps2Cure NF Walk/Run when and where you want.

To learn more about any of our corporate engagement opportunities, contact us at info@nfnortheast.org.

In-Kind Donations

In-kind donations are a fun, rewarding way to show your support for NF Northeast and our mission. They help us create one-of-a kind raffle experiences and help incentivize and motivate fundraising.

DIY Fundraising

Create and register a DIY fundraiser to help raise awareness of neurofibromatosis and allied diseases. Your participation will be completely your own, create a “jeans day” or a “donate your latte” day. Raise funds how and when you want in a way that works for your employees. Customize the length from 1 week to a whole year of giving.

Campaign Sponsorship

Sponsor an annual awareness and fundraising campaign. Awareness helps the organization enormously by getting the word out about neurofibromatosis through our social media channels.

Friends of Neurofibromatosis Northeast

Trish Mahoney & Eryn’s Angels

Local real estate agent Trish Mahoney began her Real Estate Commitment Program titled “Eryn’s Angels” in memory of her late daughter Erin, who passed away after a courageously fought battle with neurofibromatosis. Trish has generously pledged to donate 10% of all commissions made through her real estate transactions to NF Northeast, in honor of Erin.

“Erin was the most beautiful, kind soul and while she is no longer here… another life cut short because of NF… this is to do something good. The buyer or seller would be doing the purchase/sale of a home anyway—by choosing me I promise honesty and integrity. They will be treated like family.”

“The heart of it is to keep her memory alive, while bringing light to NF and all the complications (medical. societal, emotional) that come with it. To bring awareness to the disease, while still offering hope.”

-Trish Mahoney-Diefenbach

If you’re buying or selling a home in the near future, please consider working with Trish and supporting NF Northeast. Contact Trish at 978-304-9026 or trish@dalbon.com for more information!

NF Community Outreach Committee

The NF Community Outreach Committee’s mission is to educate and provide resources in  local communities among NF patients and their families throughout the Northeast. The group does this organically through word-of-mouth, working with local hospitals, reaching out to school nurses, and through social media. The committee helps with programs throughout the year, such as Matched for Hope, educational programs for patients and families, and Coffee Chats, just to name a few. They also help to plan social events such as an afternoon at a ballpark, playground meet-and-greet events, and restaurant nights. For more information about joining the group, please contact NFNE at info@nfnortheast.org.
