Growing up in a “medical family” where it seemed everyone was a doctor or a nurse, Jillian has always had a passion for healthcare. While high school biology was her favorite class, chemistry got the best of her and thwarted her ambition to solve all the world’s medical crises.
She found fulfillment, however, in helping to raise philanthropic support for organizations doing work of which she is proud.
Jillian joined NF Northeast in September of 2017, and quickly fell in love with the families and supporters of NF Northeast. She is in charge of the event sponsorship program, annual fund and all philanthropic support for the organization. She brings to the role over 10 years of development experience at organizations including Boston Children’s Hospital, Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research, and St. Francis House.
Jillian is the proud mom to three kids and two rescue dogs. She has a slight obsession with animals and dedicated many years to helping to rescue dogs through the rescue organization Almost Home Rescue prior to her kids usurping all of her time and attention! She is an avid reader and will talk your ear off about the latest book she has read, and has a fondness for a good spin class where she can pretend she is coordinated and imagine herself an athlete (which she is not!)
